The University Of Washington offers pre-application online. Students may apply in person at the Office of Admissions, which is located on the first floor of Schmitz Hall. The application fee is $70 for domestic students and $80 for international students. A UW transcript is required and official copies must be requested from the Office of the Registrar, Box 355850. If you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and have a valid Social Security Number, you will want to apply through the University of Washington’s online application system. To apply, simply click on “Apply Now” at the top of their website. Once in the system, you’ll need to fill out all sections of your application (such as academic history, test scores and other qualifications), then submit it by paying an application fee if you’re not currently enrolled in school (or paying for your last term if you are).

Once payment is complete, follow their instructions for submitting documents such as transcripts and letters of recommendation.

Once this phase is complete, don’t forget about deadlines! The deadline for Fall 2019 admissions is December 15th of 2018; Spring 2020 admissions are due February 1st of 2019; Summer 2020 admissions are due June 1st of 2019; Fall 2021 admissions are due December 15th 2020

The fee can be paid online via credit card or debit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover Network Debit Card), or you may pay by check or money order made payable to the University of Washington (UW). If paying by check/money order in person at the Graduate School Office we require that payments be made in cash only because they need to be posted immediately on our system, otherwise they will not post until after their next scheduled nightly run which are Monday evening through Friday morning.
