can i study nursing with ncv level 4

Yes you can. But you will have to enroll for a bridging course first

A lot of people ask how long it typically takes to get into a nursing program, and the answer varies depending on your school, the state you are applying to, and some other factors. For example, I’ve just started in my first year of nursing school and will be here for 2 more years. But if you’re not from here or aren’t seriously considering working while you’re studying, then there’s an excellent chance that you could finish all your course work within a year or so.

You will have to apply to any nursing school in Ontario (I’m in Scarborough). You can send up to 3 applications at once with Health Knowledge Network (HKN), which is part of the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion and Protection. If you need help doing this or want more information about this process, please contact them at HKNinfo@ontariohealthconnector.ca .

Please note that the minimum admission requirement is at least 40% in English and Mathematics

Please note that the minimum admission requirement is at least 40% in English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy. If you meet these requirements, but have a Life Science mark of less than 40%, you will need to register for and pass a bridging course before you can do the Nursing qualification.

For more information, visit your prospective institution’s website, contact their Admissions Office or Careers Office, or call them directly.

You will have to do a Bridging Course first

Bridging Courses can help you to study at a higher level than you have previously studied. They provide you with the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for higher level studies. Many institutions offer Bridging Courses.

You can apply for a Bridging Course at the website of any institution that offers them, or by sending your name and contact details to the contact address listed on the page below.
