Ramapo College of New Jersey
Ramapo College of New Jersey is a public college with an emphasis on undergraduate education. It was founded in 1969 and has an enrollment of about 6,500 students. Ramapo offers more than 80 major areas of study for undergraduates, as well as master’s programs in the fields of nursing and physical therapy.
The GPA range for admission to Ramapo College is between 2.5 and 3.5 (on a 4-point scale), but applicants with GPAs below this range may still be considered if they have exceptional extracurricular activities or other accomplishments that show promise. The application fee is $50; applications are due January 15 each year, but students can submit them as early as October 1st or as late as February 1st without penalty.
Applicants must submit SAT or ACT scores (the test optional), along with high school transcripts and SAT subject tests if they wish to do so; international students who require visas must also submit TOEFL results if English is not their first language (although this requirement may be waived under certain circumstances).
