Oregon State University (OSU) is a public research university located in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. The university offers more than 200 undergraduate degree programs along with master’s and doctoral degrees in a wide variety of disciplines.

OSU was founded as the Agricultural College of the State of Oregon in 1868. It became Oregon State University in 1961, merging with the state agricultural experiment station. Regis University is the oldest and largest online university in the United States. Regis was founded as Loretto Heights College in 1877 by the Sisters of Saint Francis at Loretto Heights Academy on Colfax Avenue in Denver.
