1 Brown University

Brown University is a private Ivy League research university located in Providence, Rhode Island. The university has been listed as a top-ten national university by U.S. News & World Report since the publication’s inception and was also named the fifth-best value for in-state students among all national universities by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine in 2018.

The institution was originally established as Brown University, after John Hay (1791–1839), who gave $500,000 to launch it as an institution of higher education. It is the seventh oldest institution of higher education in the United States and one of nine Colonial Colleges founded before the American Revolution (the others were Harvard University; Yale University; Dartmouth College; Princeton University; Columbia University; William & Mary College; Pennsylvania State University ;and King’s College) .

2 Bucknell University

Bucknell University is a private liberal arts college in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. The school was founded in 1846 by the Reverend William Bucknell and has since expanded to nearly 4000 undergraduate students today.

Bucknell is a test-optional institution and does not require SAT or ACT scores for admission. Instead, the Office of Undergraduate Admission uses your high school record, standardized testing scores (if applicable), personal recommendations, academic achievements and extracurricular activities as part of your application review process. If you are an international applicant and do not submit either test score on your own initiative, it is required that you supply official copies of your secondary school credentials translated into English.

3 Cornell University

Cornell University is a private Ivy League university in Ithaca, New York. Cornell was founded in 1865 and is the oldest university in the state of New York. It has been ranked as one of the top 10 universities in America by US News & World Report for over 30 years.

Cornell is a large research university with a very selective admissions process that has produced several Nobel Prize winners and Rhodes Scholars among its alumni. Its architecture program was ranked 8th by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs (2018).

4 Dartmouth College

Dartmouth College is a private Ivy League research university in Hanover, New Hampshire, United States. Established in 1769, Dartmouth is the ninth-oldest college in the United States and one of the nine Colonial Colleges founded before the American Revolution.

Dartmouth has several undergraduate majors and three doctoral programs (Earth Sciences; Health Sciences; Molecular Medicine). The University Library system contains over 8 million bound volumes of books, journals, newspapers and microform items encompassing more than 50 languages. The library’s Special Collections include over 20 collections ranging from rare books to manuscripts representing some of the world’s greatest authors, artists and composers including letters written by Abraham Lincoln as well as an archive containing works relating to Herman Melville

5 Davidson College

Davidson College is a private liberal arts college in Davidson, North Carolina. It was founded in 1837 and gained its current name in 1838. The school is a member of the NCAA Division I and is also a member of the Southern Athletic Association.

6 Duke University

Duke University has been test optional since 2016. First-year and transfer students who have not yet taken the SAT or ACT may choose to apply without submitting scores, while all undergraduate majors are also considered test optional (with the exception of medicine). Additionally, all graduate programs at Duke are also considered test optional. This includes both PhDs and master’s programs. In addition, international students can still be admitted to these programs even if they do not submit their standardized tests scores.

If you plan to go to Fordham University, you can choose not to submit your SAT or ACT scores. Fordham is a private research university located in New York City. It was founded in 1841 and has the largest endowment of all Catholic institutions of higher learning in America. The university is ranked as a top-tier national university by U.S News & World Report, Forbes, Washington Monthly and others.

Fordham’s undergraduate business program offers an integrated curriculum that includes courses from several disciplines like economics, accounting technology and management information systems (IT). About 60 percent of students are enrolled within the school’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; this means they’ll have access to a wide range of majors including History, Psychology or English Literature which constitute the core liberal arts studies at Fordham University

8 Georgetown University

Georgetown University is test optional. You can include your scores, but they are not required. Georgetown University will not consider your SAT or ACT scores during the application process. The school does not use standardized tests in their admission process and has decided to become test optional for 2022 applicants.

9 Johns Hopkins University

Johns Hopkins University is a private research university in Maryland that was founded in 1876 and is named after the first benefactor of the school, Johns Hopkins. It is a member of the Association of American Universities and the American Association of Universities, and has a total undergraduate enrollment of 6,879 and a total graduate enrollment of 1,846.

The school offers over 80 undergraduate majors across 10 divisions as well as more than 150 master’s degrees and doctoral programs through its 9 schools.
