Empire State College offers a variety of degree programs in the liberal arts and sciences. One of these is the Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) program, which allows for students to take a variety of courses so as to explore their areas of interest. The LAS program allows students to take courses at their own pace, with no required GPA or minimum number of credits needed in order to graduate.
Empire State College also offers master’s degrees through its School of Graduate Studies. Students who apply may be admitted with as little as 3 semester hours credit; however, most students will have earned an associate’s degree from another institution before applying for admission into one of Empire State College’s master’s programs.
