Program Description: The Indiana State University Athletic Training program has been in existence since the early 1990s and is recognized as one of the best undergraduate athletic training education programs in the nation. The department offers an Associate of Science degree that prepares graduates to work as entry-level athletic trainers and a Bachelor of Science degree that gives them greater flexibility in their careers. Both degrees are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Admission Requirements: Applicants must complete an application form, submit official transcripts for all previous college work, provide two letters of recommendation from instructors or employers, and pass a pre-admission physical evaluation if they are under 25 years old. Tuition & Fees: $898 per credit hour for out-of-state students; $842 per credit hour for nonresident aliens; $935 per credit hour for international students (2015–16).
