The Army ROTC program is a college-based commissioning program that allows students to explore different military branches while earning their degree. University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
UNC-Chapel Hill has a long history of ROTC. The university currently offers a BS in Military Science with a concentration in Military Intelligence, as well as a BS in Military Science with a concentration in Cyber Operations.

Texas A&M University

Army ROTC program is part of the Corps of Cadets and offers students a unique opportunity to receive a college degree from Texas A&M while also earning credit toward their officer commission with the U.S. Army. With five battalions on campus, cadets can choose from more than 80 areas of study within Texas A&M’s College of Liberal Arts or choose one of two specializations in engineering: electrical or mechanical engineering. Cadets are required to live on campus and participate in weekly leadership training exercises with their battalion as well as participate in several athletic competitions throughout the year
Georgia Institute of Technology
Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT) offers Army ROTC at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate levels. GIT is a highly regarded engineering school that has been consistently ranked among the top 50 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report since 1987. The Army ROTC program at GIT offers both degree-granting programs as well as non-degree offerings for cadets interested in learning more about military service. For those pursuing a commission through Army ROTC, scholarships and financial aid can help cover college expenses while they are in school and after they graduate from college with their bachelor’s degrees as well as their master’s degrees or PhDs from Georgia Tech University.
West Point Military Academy
West Point Military Academy is the oldest and most prestigious military academy in the United States. Established in 1802, it was built on a site previously occupied by an American Indian village known as Old West Point. The campus overlooks the Hudson River and is located about 50 miles north of New York City.
West Point accepts students who have been admitted to its Regular Army program (ROTC) as well as those who are not ROTC members but apply directly to West Point for admission. Those who are not ROTC members must take an entrance exam and write an essay during their application process. Applicants must also be nominated by either a member of Congress or a U.S Army officer with at least two years’ service (sponsor). Students must maintain good academic standing while enrolled at West Point; they may petition their school if their performance falls below acceptable standards (below 2:1), but this will only extend them one semester unless they can prove extenuating circumstances beyond their control caused them to fail academically.
University of Georgia
ROTC is a great way to get a college degree and serve your country. The program provides scholarships and jobs for officers in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. Students who earn their bachelor’s degree through Army ROTC will have guaranteed acceptance into any graduate school or military service academy they choose to attend.
Students will also be able to get certified as paratroopers in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina or gain experience with Special Operations Forces (SOF) units like Green Berets or Rangers through an optional Advanced Leadership Course that is offered during summers between junior and senior years.

United States Military Academy at West Point is a four-year undergraduate college that offers programs in engineering, science, and liberal arts. It’s also a military school and co-educational. It’s a private school but selective in admissions, so you’ll need to apply to get in.
United States Military Academy at West Point was founded by Andrew Hamilton on May 5th 1802 as the first federal land grant college. The academy’s mission statement is “to educate, train and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor and Country.”
Lehigh University
Lehigh University has a long-standing relationship with the Army ROTC program. Founded in 1865, Lehigh is a private university located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The school offers undergraduate degrees in over 40 different fields of study and graduate degrees in more than 20 fields.
The Army ROTC scholarship covers tuition, fees, room and board for two years of college. In addition to that benefit, there are also additional funds available for textbooks and other expenses incurred during your time at school (up to $1,000 per year). The scholarship also includes one year of active duty after graduation from college.
If you want to enter the field of nursing after graduating from Lehigh University, then you must apply separately for another scholarship through the Army Nurse Corps Scholarship Program (ANCP). This program provides funding that can cover either one or two years’ worth of education at any accredited institution (university or nursing school) as well as full payment of tuition/fees/books/health insurance coverage while enrolled on campus full time with no restrictions on class load requirements—just make sure it’s an accredited institution!
To be eligible for this program: You must be between 18-25 years old with no dependents; have good moral character; have graduated high school or received GED certification within last six months; meet all minimum academic standards required by ANCP sponsor institution(s); agree not take part in any form protest activity while serving as an officer candidate (including but not limited too physical demonstrations such as walkouts).
