California College of the Arts

While this is technically a school for art and design, it offers a wide variety of programs that will appeal to students interested in a more traditional college experience. The school was founded in 1907 as an art school and has since expanded to include creative writing, dance, film and video. In addition to its undergraduate degree programs (BA or BFA), CalArts also offers graduate degrees in creative writing and visual arts.

Ringling College of Art and Design

Ringling College of Art and Design is a private, non-profit college with a focus on art, design, and media. The college was founded in 1931 by Mable Ringling and Charles Ringling. Located in Sarasota, Florida, the school has about 1,100 undergraduate students and 300 graduate students.

School of Visual Arts

• School of Visual Arts (SVA) is a private art and design college in New York City. It was founded in 1947 and is currently a member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design, and the Council of Independent Colleges.

SVA’s undergraduate program offers majors in illustration, graphic design, interior architecture/design, industrial design, painting/printmaking/drawing/mixed media (or “multimedia”), photography and interactive media & game design. Students may also choose to focus on one particular medium through their coursework while taking electives in other areas. The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is a private, nonprofit institution of higher learning located in Savannah, Georgia, United States.

Maryland Institute College of Art

The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) is a private, not-for-profit institution that offers a wide range of degrees, including a BFA in Fine Arts. MICA also offers undergraduate and graduate programs in the following areas: art education; communication design; contemporary dance; digital media production; fashion design and merchandising; film/video animation/photography/theory & criticism; graphic design – printmaking emphasis; illustration; interior design – furniture industry emphasis; painting & drawing – sculpture emphasis.

MICA was founded in 1826 as Maryland Institute for the Promotion of the Mechanic Arts (MIPSA), which was later renamed to its current name after it changed its focus to include fine arts as well. It has a student population of 1,300 people.

Located on 17 acres in Baltimore City’s Mount Royal neighborhood, MICA is home to more than 350 works by African American artists such as Jacob Lawrence (1917–2000), Faith Ringgold (1930–present) and Romare Bearden (1911–1988).

Massachusetts College of Art and Design

Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) is a public college located in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, United States. It has an enrollment of around 2,000 students.

MassArt is one of the largest art and design schools in the United States. Established in 1873 as the Boston Museum School by local artists, it is the oldest independent college for fine arts in New England.[2] MassArt offers Bachelor’s degrees and Master’s degrees through its five divisions: Parsons School for Design; Architecture & Environmental Design; Arts + Media; Fine Arts; Textiles + Fashion Merchandising/Management as well as Continuing Education programs which include high school equivalency testing (GED), English as a Second Language classes, professional development workshops on topics such as resume writing or workplace bullying prevention awareness etc.

Otis College of Art and Design

• Parsons’s printmaking department offers students access to a wide range of tools and materials including laser cutters and 3D printers. They also offer students opportunities to explore traditional approaches to printmaking such as etching, engraving, lithography, monotype, relief printing (screen printing), collagraphy (collage), woodcutting/carving or relief carving on various substrates including wood panels – all within an expansive 7500 square foot studio space designed specifically for this purpose!

California Institute of the Arts is a private university located in Valencia, California. The school was founded in 1961 and offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. Students can pursue a degree in Animation, Art, Design, Film and Electronic Arts at CalArts.
