Colleges That Offer Bridge Programs
The bridge program is a hybrid of two or more programs that allows you to earn credits towards multiple degrees or certificates in one semester. The program usually takes place during the summer and fall, with students taking classes in both semesters.
Adams State University
Adams State University is a public liberal arts university located in Alamosa, Colorado, United States. It’s one of the few universities that offer bridge programs to students who are interested in enrolling at a four-year college or university but lack the necessary preparation.
Adams State University is a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC), which promotes liberal arts education and works to improve student access to majors and careers through its member institutions. The council includes more than 80 members across North America.
Additionally, Adams State University is one of only five Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) member schools in Colorado; it was also named by HACU as an Outstanding Leader School for its commitment to Hispanic student success from 2010 through 2016.
Albion College
Albion College is a private, liberal arts college located in Albion, Michigan. The school is a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III.
Alcorn State University
Alcorn State University is a public, historically black, liberal arts university located in Lorman, Mississippi. Alcorn State University was founded in 1871 as Alcorn Agricultural and Mechanical College. The school officially became Alcorn State University on December 19th 2007 after the passing of House Bill No. 573 by Governor Haley Barbour of Mississippi.
The university offers over 80 undergraduate and graduate degrees including doctorate programs in several areas such as education administration and counseling psychology. Students can choose to live on campus or commute from nearby towns such as Clinton or Jackson
Angelo State University
Angelo State University is a public university located in San Angelo, Texas. The university was founded in 1928 as San Angelo State Teachers College, and it became Angelo State University in 1965. ASU offers bachelor’s degrees through the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Fine Arts and Communication, the College of Health Professions, and the College of Education. In addition to these majors offered on-campus at ASU, students can also take advantage of an online degree program that provides a flexible schedule for working adults looking to continue their education but don’t want to give up their current jobs or relocate somewhere else entirely.
The campus’ buildings include Edwin Hall Library (named after Edwin R. Hall) which houses over 500 kilometers worth of books; Alkek Library (named after Cecil A. Alkek); Cerna Concert Hall; Danley Hall which houses offices such as Student Affairs/Registrar; Lopes Ballroom (named after John Lopes Jr.) which hosts performances by both ASU students as well as visiting artists from around Texas; Memorial Student Center which includes meeting areas equipped with wireless internet access throughout various rooms throughout this building besides just having inside areas like ballrooms where people can come together for functions or study sessions without worrying about having enough outlets nearby since each room has its own power source connected directly into an electrical line within walls behind desks if needed so there should never be any problems getting online when using one’s laptop computer either wired or wireless depending on whether there are any open wifi networks available nearby
Arkansas State University–Jonesboro
If you’re a high school student and would like to enroll in college, Arkansas State University (ASU) has a bridge program that will help you make the transition. Bridge programs are designed to help students transition from high school to college. Students must complete a bridge program before being able to enroll in a bachelor’s degree program at ASU or elsewhere.
Bridge programs are typically one year long, but can vary depending on the needs of each student. They often include coursework in math, reading comprehension, science and social studies as well as remedial classes that cover basic skills such as writing essays and taking notes.
Ashland University
- Ashland University is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college located in Ashland, Ohio, United States. The university was founded in 1878 as Ashland College by the Disciples of Christ.
- The school’s athletic teams compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as the Ashland Eagles and are members of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC). Total enrollment exceeds 6,000 students including those at extension sites across Ohio and online programs in partnership with several colleges around the country.
Berry College
The Bridge to Business program at Berry College is a dual-enrollment program that allows students to begin their university careers while they are still in high school. The program offers full tuition scholarships, as well as housing, meal plans and parking passes.
Bridge to Business students take courses at the main campus in Mount Berry, Georgia as well as at one of four satellite campuses:
- Home Campus – Main Campus in Mount Berry, Georgia
- Auburn Campus – Auburn University Campus in Auburn, Alabama
- Atlanta West Campus – Kennesaw State University West Campus in Marietta, Georgia
- Atlanta East Campuses – Kennesaw State University East Campuses in Woodstock or Alpharetta
Blinn College (Texas)
Blinn College is a community college located in Brenham, Texas, United States. The school offers associate degree programs as well as certificate programs and other classes. Blinn College was founded in 1923 by Dr. Edward Charles Blinn and his wife, Louise Henry Blinn. It has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools since 1952.
Brandman University*
- Brandman University is a private, nonprofit, nonsectarian institution of higher education.
- Brandman University was founded in 1960 as the Los Angeles College of Mortuary Science. The school changed its name to Brandman University in 1999 and moved to Irvine, California.
Bridgewater State University (Massachusetts)
Bridgewater State University is a public university in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, United States. It is a member of the Massachusetts State University system, and is located approximately 20 miles south of Boston. Massasoit Community College and Plymouth State University are also found within its geographical borders.
In addition to its undergraduate programs of study, Bridgewater State offers graduate-level education through its master’s degree program in nursing and doctoral programs in physical therapy and education leadership. The university also houses an Honors Program for high-achieving students as well as an English Language Institute (ELI) that aims to prepare international students for college-level studies within the United States
Caldwell University (New Jersey)
Caldwell University is a private, non-profit, coeducational university located in Caldwell, New Jersey. This liberal arts college has a focus on science and technology, which includes the school’s new STEM building that opened in 2017. Caldwell University offers a variety of degrees including an M.S. in Computer Science, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Master of Science in Clinical Research Management and an MBA with concentrations including finance or marketing management.
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona offers a wide range of undergraduate degrees, including:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Education
California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo
CSU San Luis Obispo offers a bridge program for students who have earned an associate degree in a related field. If you complete this program, you’ll earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration. You can also earn a bachelor’s degree in management and leadership by completing the bridge program and taking additional courses at CSU San Luis Obispo.
California State University, Bakersfield*
The California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB) is a great school for students who want to get a good education. The CSUB has a good reputation for its academics and athletics. Students will also enjoy the small size of the campus, as well as all of the recreational activities that are available to them.
California State University, Channel Islands*
California State University, Channel Islands (CSU Channel Islands) is a public university located in Camarillo, California. CSU Channel Islands has a student population of over 5,000 students and offers a variety of degree programs within its three schools: the School of Arts & Humanities; the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics; and the School of Social Sciences.
The school has an 18:1 student-to-faculty ratio and provides students with a tight-knit community that fosters strong relationships between faculty members and their students.
