Colleges That Offer Exercise Science
Colleges That Offer Exercise Science
Exercise science is a challenging field to enter, but it can lead to a rewarding career in the health and fitness industry. Students who go into this field need to have knowledge about biology, physiology, anatomy, biomechanics and psychology. They also need good math skills because they learn how to calculate energy expenditure during exercise and metabolic rate over time.
Exercise science majors can work at gyms or with special populations such as elderly people or children. It’s also possible for students who major in exercise science to go on and earn graduate degrees in medicine or public health (and become doctors). However, not all colleges offer exercise science as a major or minor; some schools only offer classes related to this topic within their general education curriculum instead of having an actual degree program associated with it.”
