The first step is to find out what kind of program your chosen school offers: whether it be undergraduate- or graduate-level; whether they offer part-time or full-time coursework; even what kinds of financial aid they provide. Then read up on recent stories in your local newspapers about people who went through with this type of training (and how their careers turned out).

When you have narrowed down your options, it may help to talk with someone who has actually gone through such training before–maybe even someone who works at an accounting firm doing this type work now!
