University of Virginia
The University of Virginia offers a full scholarship to men and women who are committed to playing lacrosse. The Cavaliers have been one of the best programs in recent history, winning five national championships since 2000 and consistently qualifying for the NCAA tournament. In 2017 they finished with a record of 12-3, losing to Loyola (MD) in the semifinals but beating Maryland in the third place game.
University of Virginia also offers partial scholarships for both men’s and women’s teams that include tuition waivers, books and fees paid by athletic department funds, as well as housing allowances if students live on campus.
