Florida State College at Jacksonville
Florida State College at Jacksonville offers a massage therapy program that’s designed to provide students with the skills necessary for a successful career in the massage therapy field. The program is made up of four semesters, each consisting of approximately 16 weeks.
The cost for this program can vary depending on whether or not you’re accepted into their financial aid program and what type of financial assistance you qualify for. Total annual tuition costs range from $15,000 – $22,000 (not including books and supplies).
You’ll be required to complete at least 120 clock hours in order to graduate from this school’s massage therapy program; however, some states require more than 100 hours of schooling before they’ll issue you a license as a massage therapist. Some states also require additional exams after graduation—contact your state board to find out what these requirements may be before enrolling in any school’s coursework!
Herkimer County Community College
Herkimer County Community College is located in Herkimer, New York and offers a wide range of degrees and programs. The college’s School of Massage Therapy program is accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA), which was founded in 1979 to ensure that massage therapy programs provide quality education to students.

Mitchell Technical Institute
Located in Mitchell, SD, Mitchell Technical Institute (MTI) offers a variety of career-oriented certificate programs at the 2-year tech school level.
MTI offers massage therapy programs that are designed to prepare students for careers as licensed massage therapists. The MTI Massage Therapy Program is offered at two locations: Mitchell and Sioux Falls.
The MTI Massage Therapy Program is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
Montgomery County Community College
Montgomery County Community College offers a massage therapy program through its Massage Therapy Institute. The program is a two-year associate degree, offered in-person and online. Students who complete this program are eligible to apply for certification by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).
Montgomery County Community College also offers a certificate of completion for its massage therapy program. This option is available to students who have already earned another degree, such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in another field.
Northwest Kansas Technical College
Northwest Kansas Technical College is located in Goodland, Kansas. The program is offered through the school’s Health Professions Division, which includes massage therapy and nursing. The associate degree in applied science (A.A.S.) in massage therapy can be completed in 18 months of full-time study or 24 months of part time study. Students must complete an externship for a minimum of 400 hours during their final semester, which helps prepare them for a career as a massage therapist.
The cost of tuition at NWKTC is $2,710 per semester for residents and $4,346 per semester for non-residents (2016–2017).
Northern Virginia Community College
Northern Virginia Community College is Virginia’s largest community college, offering a wide range of degree programs and certificate programs.
This school offers a massage therapy associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, doctoral degree and certificate program.
Ontario Colleges Massage Therapy Program
The Ontario Colleges Massage Therapy Program offers a certificate, diploma, degree and post-graduate program to students who wish to study massage therapy.
Students can choose between general or advanced courses. The college also offers career counseling services and workshops for students on topics such as anatomy and physiology, kinesiology and biomechanics of the musculoskeletal system.
The certificate program in massage therapy is offered through Mohawk College in Hamilton Ontario at both its Fennell Campus (open August 2019) as well as its Stoney Creek Campus (open August 2020). This course takes approximately two years to complete with an average of 28 hours per week spent studying at home or in the classroom. Students will learn how to assess patients before giving them a massage treatment using techniques such as Swedish massage techniques for relaxation purposes; therapeutic touch for pain relief purposes; reflexology for foot care purposes; neuromuscular therapy; hot stone massage techniques etcetera…
