We operate on a continuous rolling admissions basis, which means you don’t need to be concerned with deadlines or specific times to submit your materials. If you’re ready to apply, simply complete and submit the online application. If accepted, we’ll work with you to help find an academic program that best fits your needs and goals. There are no deadlines for applications; however, we recommend that applicants apply early in their senior year so they can benefit from our resources during their transition into college life.

For the Dentistry applicant, there is no application deadline. Applicants who need additional time to complete their application will be able to submit an updated application through the online portal until June 1st. The Admissions Committee will continue to review applications on a rolling basis after this date, although admission decisions will not be made until all materials have been submitted.

If you are accepted, a $250 non-refundable application fee will be due to the University of Utah’s School of Dentistry (this includes both the supplemental tuition deposit and the application fee). In addition, you will need to submit proof of health insurance that covers dental care. This is required by all applicants regardless of their citizenship status or visa type

The DAT is a standardized test that is required for admission to most dental schools. The test is administered by the ADA (American Dental Association) and is used to assess a student’s readiness for dental school.
