The normal minimum requirement for admission to the BA in Psychology is a 2:2 honours degree. Priority applicants (e.g. local candidates) are those who are resident within 30 miles of Durham City and have achieved at least two A-Level passes at grade A or B in any subject with no less than 5 GCSE grades at C grade or above including English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent).

The most common offer made is a conditional offer based on your UCAS application (which includes your qualifications, predicted grades, personal statement and references). There are three main routes that lead to a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Durham University. The first is the Standard Honours degree, which requires you to study three years of your chosen subject followed by a fourth year of research. Finally, there’s also the single honours course where all students take just one subject for four years with no research component at all.
