According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the average annual salary for electrical engineers with a bachelor’s degree is $83,000 (and $96,000 when they have a master’s). The median salary is $79,090 per year—which means half of all workers earn more than this amount and half earn less. As far as starting salaries go, the median is $65,000 at entry level (or right out of college) and $77,900 after five years on the job.
