You can motivate yourself without being mean to yourself.

A lot of people think that they need to be mean to themselves in order to motivate themselves. This is not true and can lead to a lot of problems, such as depression and anxiety. Instead, you can motivate yourself without being mean to yourself by following these steps:

  • Find a reward system that works for you. You might find that writing down what motivates you every day helps or maybe setting goals works better for your personality type? Whatever it is that makes sense for YOU!
  • Stay positive! It’s easy when we’re feeling low on energy or motivation but try your best not too let those feelings control how you think about yourself because this will only make things worse in the long term (even if it feels great now).

The way you think about yourself and your capabilities is crucial to your success. You can motivate yourself without being mean to yourself. The trick is to remember that no one is perfect, and everyone has struggles. So don’t compare yourself with others—instead, focus on what you want for yourself!
