Music or any other type of performing arts.

Music can be a great way to express yourself. It can let you experience the emotions and feelings of others. Music gives us the ability to connect with others in extraordinary ways that are not always possible through traditional methods such as talking or writing. Music teaches us about ourselves, our cultures, and other cultures around the world. By learning how music has been used throughout history we gain an appreciation for its power while also gaining insights into human nature that may otherwise go unappreciated by those who do not live within this particular artistic medium day-to-day as their primary form of communication.

Volunteering / Community Service.

Volunteering is an excellent way to gain experience and meet new people in the community. It’s also a great way to give back, which can be very satisfying. Consider volunteering at your local animal shelter or the local food bank, for example.

If you’re interested in pursuing a career that involves working with children, consider volunteering at an elementary school as part of your curriculum activities. If you are interested in helping people improve their health and well-being through exercise, consider joining a community organization that hosts walking events or runs marathons and 5Ks! Volunteering is a great way to spend time with others who share your interests while helping improve society as a whole!

Student Government (e.g., class president).

Yearbook / Newspaper.

As a student, you will have the opportunity to be involved in yearbook and newspaper. These are two of the many curricular activities that we offer at our school. The yearbook is a recording of school events during the year. It makes a great keepsake from which to look back on and cherish memories made with friends and teachers. The newspaper covers all sorts of news stories and features by students, as well as articles by staff members who are trained in journalism. Both publications can be used as tools to show off your talents, get involved on campus, and even help you find internships or jobs in your field!

Cheerleading.

Cheerleading is a sport. Cheerleaders are athletes, just like you and me!

Cheerleading is also an extracurricular activity in school. This means that there are no official teachers in charge of it, but it’s still organized by the school.

Cheerleading can be done by boys and girls together—it’s co-ed!

Cheerleaders don’t wear any special uniforms during their practice sessions—they wear their own clothes to cheer on their team at games and competitions.

Speech.

A speech is a formal presentation of ideas or information, usually intended to educate or persuade an audience. The purpose of a speech is to present new information and/or arguments in such a way that the audience will be motivated to learn more about it, think differently about it and/or be persuaded by it.

Speeches can be delivered in person (e.g., at conferences) or via media such as video conferencing systems connected through networked computers with audio and visual capabilities. Speeches may also be delivered via telephone connections between two individuals at separate locations where they are equipped with speakers and microphones so they can hear each other clearly while speaking into the microphones before being transmitted over Internet connections between locations where participants are listening on headphones connected directly into their computers’ sound cards).

A speech should include the following components:

• An introduction stating who you are, why you’re giving this talk today (the occasion), what your topic is going to cover (the reason for meeting today), etc.;
• Body paragraphs describing your points;
• A conclusion summing up everything said earlier in case there were any misunderstandings among listeners about what was said earlier;
