Fisk University Application Fee
Fisk University Application Fee
If you’re a prospective student, there are several steps to take when applying for admission to Fisk University. First, you must complete the FAFSA by the priority date. Next, you need to submit your application and pay your enrollment deposit by the application deadline. Once admitted, all required documentation must be submitted in order for you to become fully enrolled as a student at Fisk University.
Determine your application fee or waiver eligibility.
The following steps will help you determine your application fee or waiver eligibility:
- Check the Fisk University website for more information about applying for financial aid, including whether or not you qualify for a fee waiver. You can also find information on other types of scholarships and financial resources available to students who wish to attend Fisk.
- Call the Fisk University admissions office at 1-800-937-1957 (toll free), or 615/329-5490 if long distance charges apply (international). A representative will be able to tell you if you are eligible for a fee waiver based on your income level or other factors such as race, gender, ethnicity and veteran status.
- Talk with your guidance counselor at school; they may have specific information about what programs are available specifically through their school district that could help reduce costs associated throughout college career planning process—including those related specifically toward paying off student loans after graduation!
Submit your application, complete with the FAFSA, by the priority date.
As a general rule, you should submit your application by the priority date. In some cases, there may be a benefit to applying after this deadline. For example, if you are applying for scholarship funding or need to apply for financial aid at another college before enrolling at Fisk University, we can send your academic history from other institutions directly to them.
If you are planning on attending Fisk University but have not yet begun the admissions process, please contact our office so that we can begin working with you as soon as possible!
Pay your enrollment deposit.
You will pay a $250 enrollment deposit to secure your place in the class. The deposit is non-refundable, but it does count toward your tuition and housing charges.
For example, if you are admitted for the fall semester and plan to live on campus, $250 of your enrollment deposit will be credited toward the cost of room and board on Fisk’s online bill (which you’ll receive from Hillel).
Apply for financial aid and scholarships.
Fisk University may be able to help you pay for your education. You can apply for financial aid and scholarships online, by mail or phone. You must also apply in person if you want to receive in-state tuition rates. The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships will assist students with the application process and provide them with an award letter that details their eligibility for any available funding sources .
