University of Miami
University of Miami (UM) is a private, nonsectarian institution of higher education located in Coral Gables, Florida.
It’s a large research university with an undergraduate enrollment of 14,831 and postgraduate enrollment of 6,475. The school was founded in 1925 as University of Miami School for Women; it became co-ed in 1951 when it merged with nearby Dade Medical College to become University of Miami. It is known for its strong science and medicine programs, which includes dentistry, nursing and pharmacy among others; UM has been named one of the top 20 medical schools by U.S News & World Report consistently since 1990.
The university also offers programs on campus at its Health Professions Education Center along with off-site campuses throughout South Florida including North Campus near downtown Miami that houses its business school or Rosenstiel School Of Marine And Atmospheric Science (RSMAS) located on Virginia Key which focuses on marine sciences like oceanography
University of South Florida
Located in Tampa, the University of South Florida is a research university that offers more than 250 degree programs. USF is a member of the American Association of Universities and has been recognized by the Carnegie Foundation for its commitment to high-quality research. The school’s graduate programs are also nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report, with 39 graduate programs earning top 50 rankings in their respective fields.
USF has over 51,000 students enrolled on campus and online combined (roughly half in each location). It is also one of only 15 public universities nationwide with membership in AAU—the association of top-ranked schools around the country.
Flagler College is a private, coeducational liberal arts college located in St. Augustine, Florida, United States. The college has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools since 1931. University of Tampa
University of Tampa is a private, non-profit, co-educational university located in Tampa, Florida. Founded in 1956, it has grown to comprise more than 70 undergraduate degrees and 14 graduate degrees. The student-to-faculty ratio at the University of Tampa is 16:1, so you’re sure to get all the attention you need from your professors.

Florida Gulf Coast University
Florida Gulf Coast University is located in Fort Myers, Florida. It is a public university that emphasizes sustainability and offers an online MBA. Some of the majors offered are:

New College of Florida
New College of Florida is a public liberal arts college located in Sarasota, Florida. The school’s mission is to serve as an undergraduate institution for undergraduates who are serious about pursuing a career in the arts and humanities.
The school offers a wide range of programs, including:
- Associate degrees in Sustainable Enterprise/Sustainable Business Practices (offered as part of its Environmental Studies program) and Digital Arts & Culture (offered through its Digital Arts & Culture program).

Lynn University is located in Boca Raton, FL. It’s a private, nonprofit institution. Its acceptance rate is 75%, and the average net cost of attendance (tuition + living expenses) is $38,100.
Stetson University is a private university in DeLand, Florida. It has a total enrollment of 2,636 students, including 2,064 undergraduate students and 572 graduate students. Stetson University has just over 100 buildings on its main campus. The school was founded in 1883 by Henry Addison DeLand as a boys’ high school and college and named after the first president of the Board of Trustees, John M. Stetson.
Stetson University’s acceptance rate is 58%. Its tuition charges per year are $49000 for out-of-state students attending full time and $32000 for in-state students (which includes room and board).
The Everglades University
Everglades University is a private institution located in Lakeland, Florida. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 2,922 and a total graduate enrollment of 1,664.
The school has rolling admissions throughout the year, so you’ll need to check the application deadlines for each program individually. The application fee is $39 ($70 for international students), but there are scholarships available through Everglades that students can apply for to help offset this cost if needed.
The Everglades application allows students to submit their documents electronically and upload supporting materials such as letters of recommendation or test scores directly into their applications as well.
Nova Southeastern University
Nova Southeastern University is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It’s a private, not-for-profit school that offers several degree programs through its six colleges:
