With 16,000 higher education institutions in Europe and beyond, EUA provides a gateway for collaboration among professionals and universities across disciplines. The association seeks to promote good practice, sharing of knowledge, and policy expertise through workshops and seminars offered throughout the year. These sessions revolve around important topics related to teaching and research such as innovation in student assessment and university leadership. They are primarily offered for free or at a low cost to their attendees.

Although it does not offer degrees itself, the EUA maintains relationships with many of the universities offering degrees online for free (including the ones featured here) as well as other online learning initiatives like Coursera’s Global Skills Initiative or EdX’s MicroMasters programs which we cover later on this page!
