Scholarships for Haitian students may be based on a student’s interest in working in Haiti, as well as their personal connection to the country. Some nonprofits providing aid to Haiti also offer scholarships for Haitian students.
Haute School of Haiti (HSH) was founded in 2004 and is the only scholarship-granting organization for Haitian students based in the United States.

Association for Educational Development (AED) offers “The Art of Learning” awards, which will help pay for books, supplies and tuition at a university.
The AED offers scholarships to students in the U.S. and Haiti, as well as educational events, including a lecture series and professional development workshops for teachers. To qualify for AED’s “The Art of Learning” awards (that are used to help pay for books, supplies and tuition at a university), you must be enrolled in a four-year college or university or a graduate program; demonstrate financial need; and have academic excellence. You must also be of Haitian descent (even if you were not born in Haiti).
National Association of Haitian Professionals “Association Nationale des Héros Professionnels” (ANHP) and the National Association of Haitian Educators’ “Association Nationale des Professeurs d’Education” (ANPE) each sponsor full-tuition scholarships for promising students with good grades in high school.
