- We provide an atmosphere where students can hone their skills by working on real customers under close supervision from experienced professionals in a salon-like setting. This experience provides invaluable exposure for when you start your new career in a salon or day spa after graduation!

You’ll learn basic cuts and styles, including line haircuts, one-length haircuts, graduation haircuts, layering techniques and various texturizing procedures. Our goal is to provide a learning environment that will help ensure our students are career ready and able to meet state licensing requirements. We accomplish this by providing a professionally designed curriculum, experienced educators, and an instructional system which utilizes hands-on training in addition to classroom instruction.

The Salon gives students the opportunity not only to practice technical skills but also learn about professionalism, communication with clients, client satisfaction, appointment scheduling and other aspects of running a successful salon business. As part of their training program each student has the opportunity during the final quarter of their program of working with clients from start to finish under the supervision of licensed instructors.
Graduates are eligible to take the State Board Examination required by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology to obtain licensure in Ohio as a cosmetologist.
