Liberty Medical School Acceptance Rate
To be considered for enrollment in the Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, you must meet our minimum admissions requirements.
First, you must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university. (If you have not yet received your degree, you must have completed at least 75% of the credits required for the baccalaureate degree.) Accreditation must be recognized by the United States Department of Education.
Second, you must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a science GPA of 3.0. LUCOM has a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher and a preferred science GPA of 3.4 or higher. This reflects greater probability for success in LUCOM and with the national board of examinations.
Third, you must have obtained a score of 501 or greater on the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). No individual score may be less than 123. In very rare circumstances an exception may be made to this requirement if certain other criteria are met and space is available in our class roster at the time your application is reviewed by our Admissions Committee.
