University of Southern California is a private research university located in Los Angeles, California, United States. University of Miami is a public research university located in Coral Gables, Florida. The University was established in 1925 and offers over 190 degree programs including masters in physiotherapy to eligible candidates. In order to be eligible for admission into the DPT (Doctor of Physiotherapy) program, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with either a 3.0 GPA or higher and three letters of recommendation along with a minimum score of 500 on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). The program takes 8 semesters and is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). Classes include musculoskeletal anatomy, health promotion kinesiology, therapeutic exercise and soft tissue techniques among others. Tuition fees for this program are $871 per credit hour and the student to faculty ratio is 12:1.

The New York University College of Dentistry is the dental school of New York University. The college is located on First Avenue in the Kips Bay neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The school is one of eight schools that constitute NYU’s Medical Center and one of three that make up the NYU Health System (NYUHS).

The CAPTE requires a minimum of 2 years of full time study. Also, there would be around 100 hours of clinical experience embedded into the program.
