For you to be eligible for admission at the university of America, you must meet the following requirements.

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• You must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA (on 4-point scale). This can include courses taken as part of your high school diploma program or college/university degree program, but does not include any transfer credits from other institutions which are not calculated into your GPA; for example: if you transferred 90 credits from another university and those credits were calculated into your GPA from that institution then those transfer grades will not count towards your University of America application unless they are used as part of an associate’s degree program at one of our campuses or used toward a bachelor’s degree via distance learning options offered by us through one of our partner colleges and universities (see section on “Postsecondary” below).
