The University of Michigan Men’s Basketball team is one of the most history rich universities in the United States. Founded in 1892, the team has won 14 conference championships and nine national titles dating back to 1943. The Wolverines have played their home games at Crisler Center since 1967 after previously playing at Ferry Fieldhouse from 1922-1963 and Yost Field House from 1914-1921. The Wolverines began play in 1908 as a member of the Western Conference (now known as the Big Ten). They joined their current conference in 1918 which was then known as the Big Nine Conference (which eventually became known as today’s Big Ten Conference). Since joining this conference Michigan has been named regular season champions 7 times (1946, 1947, 1948, 1960, 1990),
