All nursing students at UNF are required to complete a set number of clinical hours before they can be licensed as registered nurses (RNs). As part of their coursework, students will complete these hours through their clinical rotations. These usually take place at area hospitals and other healthcare facilities across Jacksonville and surrounding communities. Students must have a clear criminal background check before they begin their clinical rotations and are responsible for providing all required vaccinations.

St. Leo’s School of Nursing offers an ADN-RN bridge program that leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). RNs can also earn an MSN through various tracks including the Family Nurse Practitioner Track, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Track, and Health Care Systems Management.
Located in Saint Leo, Florida, a rural town about an hour from Tampa and Orlando, St. Leo’s School of Nursing offers an ADN-RN bridge program that leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Lastly, proof of an unencumbered RN license is required before applying into this program as well.
