The UCSF Center for Excellence in Women’s Health offers a direct-entry midwifery program that takes three years to complete. It features several tracks with different clinical focuses: Homebirth, Clinic Birth, Community Birth, and Clinical Training.

Homebirth is for students who plan on attending births within the home of their patients; Clinic Birth focuses on clinic-based care throughout pregnancy and delivery. Both of these tracks are based at the UCSF Center for Excellence in Women’s Health.
