Fees are calculated based on the student’s nationality. For example, an international student from China pays a higher fee than an international student from India. Aside from tuition, lab and course fees and administration charges, you’ll also have to pay for various other things such as airfare and visa costs.

There are also additional costs that you should budget for like transportation to school or around Singapore or buying books if you don’t have access to the library at school.

Fees structure for local students is S$8,700 per annum; this is excluding the miscellaneous fees.

Tuition fees are higher than other Singapore universities and NUS has two main reasons why they charge higher: (1) to recover part of its costs from the Government and (2) to ensure that students have an opportunity to pay their fees over a longer period of time. The tuition fee for international students is fixed at around US$18,500 which is almost twice as much as what local students pay each year.

Students can apply for scholarships offered by NUS and other bodies during their course registration process so that they may not have to worry about money matters while pursuing further studies in computer science or related areas at NUS
