New York Colleges That Don’t Require Sat

If you’re like me, a lot of factors go into deciding which college to attend. Location, cost, and proximity to family are just some examples. But one thing that I didn’t even realize was important until recently is whether or not the school requires SAT scores for admission! Now that’s something that never crossed my mind before — the idea of having to submit your standardized test scores in order to get into college. So naturally, when I discovered this world of admissions requirements and saw how many schools didn’t require sat scores at all (or required them only on a case-by-case basis), I was shocked and excited at the same time.

Bard College at Simon’s Rock

Bard College at Simon’s Rock (BCS) is a four-year liberal arts college that provides an alternative to other colleges for students who want to get their degrees faster. It’s set in the Berkshire Mountains, about two hours from Boston and New York City. The university offers more than 40 majors and minors, including English literature, environmental studies and chemistry.

The school has a strong focus on arts and sciences with several departments devoted entirely to those subjects: dance; music; theater; art history/studies; film studies/video production; screenwriting/playwriting; photography; studio art (ceramics/fiber arts); digital imaging technology (printmaking).

The student population is around 600 students

Cazenovia College

Cazenovia College is a private liberal arts college located on a 200-acre (81 ha) campus in Cazenovia, New York, United States. The college was founded as the Clinton Liberal Institute in 1819 by James Clinton and Seth Low who later became governor of New York and U.S. Secretary of the Treasury respectively. It has been affiliated with the State University of New York system since its founding but has always maintained its own board of trustees and administration.[1]

Cazenovia’s undergraduate enrollment averages approximately 1,100 students from all 50 states and 30 foreign countries.[2] The majority of these students live on campus or within walking distance from campus.[3] The faculty consists mainly of full-time faculty but also includes adjunct professors who teach part-time or specialize in certain fields such as art or music performance.[4]

Clarkson University

Clarkson University is located in Potsdam, New York and offers over 100 majors and minors in engineering, science and business. Clarkson is a small school with just 3,300 undergraduate students and 1,500 graduate students. The student-to-faculty ratio at Clarkson University is 13:1 which means your professors will know you by name.

College of Mount Saint Vincent

The College of Mount Saint Vincent is a private, coed, non-sectarian, liberal arts college located in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. It has approximately 2,000 students and is affiliated with the Vincentian-Christian tradition.

The college offers bachelor’s degrees in art therapy; art history; communications; communication sciences and disorders; early childhood education; English language and literature–composition/rhetoric (BA); English language and literature–creative writing (BA); French studies; human services / counseling psychology (MA/EDS)

College of Saint Rose

College of Saint Rose is a private, not-for-profit, coeducational, Catholic, liberal arts college located in Albany, New York. It was founded in 1920 as the College of St. Monica (CSM) by the Sisters of St. Mary with the mission to educate talented young women and men to serve society in leadership positions while remaining true to their faith and heritage.

The College opened its doors on September 13th with 132 students and six faculty members. CSM’s early years were marked by rapid growth as it established itself in its new home city: first at State Street and then moving again when it purchased 80 acres near Colonie Center Mall which became known as College Hill Campus; for many years CSM was also known colloquially as “State Street” due to this location being an important focal point for many social activities throughout much of its history up until present day.[2][3]

Hilbert College

Hilbert College is a private, non-sectarian, co-educational institution of higher education located in the Town of Hamburg, New York. Hilbert offers associate’s degrees and bachelor’s degrees through its three colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences; the School of Business and Economics; and the School of Health Professions.

The College of Arts & Sciences is home to more than 10 majors including Communication Studies (which includes digital media)and Psychology. It also hosts various research centers that support these fields including The Communications Research Center (CRC)and Center for Organizational Leadership (COL).

Houghton College

Houghton College is located in Houghton, New York. The school is a private, Christian liberal arts college with an undergraduate enrollment of 2,062 students that’s broken down into 42 percent male and 57 percent female.

Maria College of Albany

Maria College of Albany is a private, Catholic liberal arts college in upstate New York. Located in Albany, New York and founded as a women’s college in 1929 by the Sisters of St. Dominic, Maria College of Albany is a small, private university that offers bachelor’s degrees through its various academic divisions: Humanities and Social Sciences; Health Professions; Business & Management; Engineering and Information Technology; Education Studies & Early Childhood Development; Nursing.

Maria College of Albany’s mascot is “The Lady Saints” while their colors are blue and white which makes them part of NCAA Division II since they compete against other universities around their state such as Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) also known as Engineers) located right down town next door on East Campus Road off Washington Avenue Extension plus Hartwick College located just outside Oneonta which has been affiliated since 1871 but didn’t become official until 1948 when it became independent under President Tracy Rood who served until 1985 when he died during his term.”

Nazareth College of Rochester

Nazareth College of Rochester is a private liberal arts college in Rochester, New York. It is the oldest Catholic college in the area and has a strong reputation for its programs in the arts and sciences. The Nazareth campus is located on Mount Saint Vincent University’s campus which allows students to enjoy all that this university has to offer.

Nazareth College provides a wide variety of courses including interdisciplinary studies, communication sciences and disorders, criminal justice and psychology among many others. They also have several study abroad opportunities available through their connections with schools around the world such as China or India where students can learn about different cultures while earning credits toward their degree program at Nazareth College.#ENDWRITE

New York Institute of Technology

NYIT is a private, non-profit, doctoral university with three campuses in New York State. NYIT offers more than 100 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees through its 6 colleges and schools. The university has a strong focus on research and innovation. It also has a long-standing commitment to health care services through its Steven Sills College of Nursing & Health Sciences as well as its School of Osteopathic Medicine at NYIT/Nassau Community College Campus (SOMNC).
