Polish Scholarship Program for Medical and Nursing Studies is a program that aims to attract foreign students to study in Poland. The Polish Scholarship Program for Medical and Nursing Studies offers financial support for the candidates who are interested in undergraduate and graduate programs in medicine or nursing. The scholarship covers the tuition fee, provides financial support for students, as well as accommodation at student hostels.

The Polish Scholarship Program for Medical and Nursing Studies is being managed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MSHE).

The BC Lung Association honors students who are entering the second year of the UBC Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy program, who are in good academic standing, and are registered as a Respiratory Therapist in BC.

Eligibility:

  • You must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada (landed immigrant or a protected person) and you must be residing in British Columbia for at least 12 months prior to applying for this scholarship. You should also be enrolling full-time and on-campus.

MBLWHOI Library Fellowships in Marine Policy and Science, 2017

The Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) are pleased to announce the 2017 MBLWHOI Library Fellowships in Marine Policy and Science. The fellowship is open to students and postdoctoral scholars who are pursuing degrees in marine policy and science.

Fellowships will provide opportunities for visiting researchers to work at both MBLWHOI Library facilities, use their collections, consult with library staff, and explore the research being conducted at the two institutions. In addition, fellowship recipients will be encouraged to participate in other intellectual activities during their stay including seminars/workshops/courses/conferences, etc., as well as informal conversations with colleagues about shared interests or current issues in marine policy and science.

Up to three fellowships will be awarded for stays of one (1), two (2), or three (3) months between June 1, 2017 through May 31, 2018. Each stipend award will be $5,000USD plus a $2500 travel allowance

Royal College of Emergency Medicine 2017 Overseas Fellowship in Emergency Medicine

  • You must be a current Royal College of Emergency Medicine member
  • You must be able to commit to a minimum of 1 month up to a maximum of 3 months to the fellowship
  • You must have completed your higher specialty training in emergency medicine
  • Your project/research should relate to education, clinical or pre-hospital care and fit in with one of the following themes:
  • Airway management in emergency medicine – role of anaesthesia.
  • STEMI, NSTEMI and unstable angina: Role for interventional cardiology.
  • Pediatric Emergency Care. (Sorry but this is only open to UK applicants)
