The University of Hull has set aside a number of nursing scholarships to attract high achieving applicants to its range of pre-registration undergraduate programmes.

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:

  • Be a UK or EU student.
  • Be studying a nursing course at the University of Hull.
  • Have accepted an unconditional offer and fulfilled any conditions of the offer.
  • Be studying on a full-time basis (not PhD or MPhil).
  • Have a household income of less than £25,000 (as assessed by Student Finance England).

A scholarship of £2,000 will be awarded to each student who takes up one of a number of places on the following courses:

  • The scholarship will be paid in six equal instalments over the three years of the undergraduate course.
  • This scholarship is available for any year of entry, and can be held alongside other University financial support.
  • The value of these scholarships will not increase annually (i.e. it is not an inflationary award)

If you are succesful in your application, you will receive an email confirming your award within 2 weeks after receiving confirmation that you have met the eligibility criteria.

To apply, please complete the online application form or download and complete an application form from our website.

You should submit your application no later than 31 August 2021, in order to receive your award by the start of your programme.
