The eligibility criteria is five credits in O’ level including English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings; bachelor’s degree in nursing (BNSc) is required; must be registered with the professional body (Nurses and Midwives Council); must have an active practising license; 1 year post registration experience; 2 passport photographs; birth certificate photocopy and DHA licensure certificate.
The duration of the course is 3 months for intensive training and six months for practical training sessions in various settings such as rural outreach programmes, HIV counselling centres, maternal health care, psychiatric settings etc. Tuition fee is N30,000 only per semester plus a refundable caution deposit of N5,000 on admission alongside school materials which cost N10,000 only per semester.

Bwari General Hospital School of Nursing:
- Bwari General Hospital School of Nursing is located in Bwari, a town in Bwari Area Council of Abuja. The school was established in 2006 by the Chief Medical Director, Dr. J. O. Adeosun. It runs a three-year basic nursing programme that leads to the award of Registered Nurse (RN).
- Entry requirements include five credits at WAEC or its equivalent and completion of an entrance examination organized by the school board.
