International Students
If you are an international student wishing to study in Poland, you should ensure that you have gathered all the required documents and met the necessary requirements for admission. Before applying for a nursing course at any university in Poland, you should make sure you meet the following conditions:
- You possess proof that shows that your education is equivalent to the educational level of a Polish nurse.
- You have successfully completed vocational or professional training.
- Your foreign school diploma certificate has been recognized as valid by a government body or institution authorized by a government authority.
School of Public Health
The School of Public Health and Health Informatics (WSZiB) is a non-public school that offers courses in the field of health sciences. It was founded in 2001 by the people who had been professionally active in the health sector for many years, specifically: Andrzej Cieszyński – President, Leszek Pawelczak – Vice President and Jarosław Skoczyński – Vice President.
In 2008 our University signed an agreement on cooperation with the Medical University of Lodz, becoming its first partner from outside Poland. This agreement allowed WSZiB students to continue their education at the Medical University of Lodz or joint double diploma studies with both universities. We also have signed agreements with other foreign universities such as:
- Riga Stradins University, Latvia
- University of Applied Sciences Cologne, Germany
School of Health Sciences
The School of Health Sciences comprises five departments:
- Department of Applied Health and Nursing
- Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation
- Department of Medical Laboratory Science
- Department of Radiography and Image Diagnostics (including the English-language programme)
- Department of Physical Education.
