Nyc Colleges That Don’t Require Sat

If you’re looking to attend college in New York City, there are many options that don’t require SAT scores. The following five schools, however, have no requirements for submitting an official copy of your SAT scores. While some may still consider them competitive schools, they offer a wide range of programs and majors without any need for standardized testing:

1) Cooper Union

Cooper Union is a private art, architecture, and engineering university located in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan. The college was founded in 1859 by Peter Cooper and opened to students the following year. This school has been tuition-free since it began accepting students; however, there is a $20 application fee.

Cooper Union has five schools: the School of Art; the School of Architecture; the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at Cooper Union (which is part of The Cooper Union for Academic Success); The Albert Nerken School of Engineering and Applied Science; and The Steven L. Newman Honors College at Cooper Union (which accepts top undergraduates from around New York City).

2) John Jay College

John Jay College is a school in New York City that offers a variety of different programs. John Jay is well-known for its criminal justice program, which prepares students to be law enforcement officers or related professions like forensic science or terrorism prevention. The psychology program at John Jay also offers students an opportunity to learn how they can help others through their studies and research.

3) Marymount Manhattan College

• Marymount Manhattan College is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college located in New York City. The college was founded in 1911 as the Young Women’s Catholic Association.
• The college is a member of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities and offers multiple undergraduate majors.

4) Parsons School of Design

Parsons School of Design is one of the top-ranked art and design schools in the United States. The school has been around since 1896, and it was founded by Albert M. Greenfield, who was an artist himself. The school offers a wide range of programs for its students to choose from including: graphic design, illustration, interior design and fashion design.

Parsons does not require SATs because they have their own test called “The Portfolio Review.” This test is used to determine if you are a good fit for the program or not based on your portfolio submissions (portfolio examples included) during application season which typically begins around October 1st each year. If you apply late in the year (after November 30th), then don’t worry! You can submit your portfolio at any time during that semester before December 15th).

5) The Juilliard School

If you want to go to school in New York City and live a life of luxury, consider Juilliard. The school is known for its performing arts program, but it also has a high dropout rate. If you have perfect SAT scores and can afford the insanely high tuition fees, then you will be accepted into this prestigious institution of higher education!

The acceptance rate at Juilliard is only 5%, so if your grades are subpar or if your SAT scores aren’t high enough, don’t even bother applying here! For those who are accepted into Juilliard, they receive full scholarships every year regardless of their financial situation. However, even with these generous scholarships students still spend an obscene amount on their education since the cost per semester averages $50k-$100k depending on what department (i.e., dance or music) one studies in and whether or not they live on campus during their time there
