THE DANISH GOVERNMENT OFFERS A NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HIGHLY QUALIFIED STUDENTS AND TEACHING STAFF TO STUDY IN DENMARK.

THE SCHOLARSHIP COVERS TUITION FEES, A MONTHLY GRANT FOR LIVING EXPENSES AND TRAVEL COSTS. WHEN YOU ARE APPLYING AT CPH WEST, YOU MUST HAVE A PRELIMINARY ACCEPTANCE FROM THE UNIVERSITY BEFORE YOU CAN BE CONSIDERED FOR RECEIVING A FULL SCHOLARSHIP FROM THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS IN DENMARK.

Applications will be assessed based on the documentation submitted and your potential for contributing to the development of Afghanistan. The following criteria will be considered when assessing your application:

academic and professional qualifications
relevance of the course you wish to pursue in Denmark to your present or future employment (in Afghanistan)
letters of reference focusing on your personal qualities and skills, including aptitude for working in a cross-cultural environment
fluency in English (note that some programmes have specific language requirements)
motivation for studying in Denmark rather than anywhere else
relevant professional experience

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS (ACADEMIC)

You must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised higher education institution.

As an applicant, you must have at least two years of relevant work experience acquired after graduation from your Bachelor’s degree.

English language requirements: You must meet the minimum English language requirements for your chosen course.

ALL COURSES, EXCEPT THOSE TAUGHT IN DANISH, ARE TAUGHT IN ENGLISH.

All courses, except those taught in Danish, are taught in English. The language of instruction is mentioned under the individual course descriptions. All students are required to have sufficient proficiency in the language of instruction to be able to follow and participate actively in the teaching and course activities. Incoming exchange students with a non-Danish upper secondary (high school) education will normally meet this requirement through their upper secondary education.

If you apply for a full degree programme at CBS, you must document your English language skills by presenting an internationally recognised test result, such as IELTS (Academic) with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 or TOEFL iBT with a minimum total score of 92 points, including 20 points for each section and written section 22 points. CRITERIA FOR SELECTION

Candidates having completed their Bachelor / Masters degree in the relevant field from a recognized university with at least 2nd Division and no 3rd Division in their academic career are encouraged to apply.

Basic computer skills of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Access.

The candidate must be fluent in speaking English as well as reading and writing skills are required.

Hands-on experience of working at the national or international level is preferred.
