Global Affairs Canada Scholarships

• A scholarship that provides opportunities for students from developing countries to pursue advanced studies at the masters or doctoral level in Canada.

Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS)

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) program is designed to attract and retain world-class doctoral students. The scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated leadership skills and a high standard of scholarly achievement in graduate studies.

This scholarship is worth $50,000 annually for three years. Students will be named by a selection committee comprised of members from all Canadian universities and chaired by the Canada Research Chair Advisory Board. Schulich Leader Scholarships

Schulich Leader Scholarships offer aid to undergraduate students who plan to study science, technology, engineering or mathematics at a Canadian university. The grand prize is $80,000 over the course of four years—a huge sum when you consider that the average annual tuition for international students in Canada is $28,450.

To qualify, you must be able to demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. Leadership and community involvement will also be considered.

You can apply through your high school’s guidance department by Feb. 1 each year.

International Student Scholarship at Bishop’s University in Canada, 2020-2021

The International Student Scholarship is open to students from outside of Canada who are pursuing undergraduate studies at Bishop’s University in Canada. The scholarship will be awarded to the highest ranking applicant who has been admitted to the university by May 1, 2020. All eligible students will be automatically considered for this award when they submit their admission application. The Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship Program is a scholarship scheme funded by the Canadian Government and administered by Universities Canada. The Margaret and Wallace McCain Scholarship is open to international undergraduate students pursuing their first degree at Mount Allison University who demonstrate an aptitude for academics and extracurricular activities. This scholarship is renewable each year, assuming that students continue to meet eligibility criteria.
