To get a financial aid award, you must submit all required documents. If you do not complete your file, you will not receive an award offer.
- View your awards in My Financial Aid. Log in to My Financial Aid and click on the 2018-2019 link under “Award Information.” This is where we post your offers.
- Accept/decline your award(s): After reviewing your award amounts and financial aid eligibility, you can accept or decline one or more of the awards offered to you at this time. There will be an option to accept or decline each individual award listed within the Award Information section of My Financial Aid. Please note that there are separate sections for grants, scholarships and loans which may need to be addressed individually as shown below:
- Grants & Scholarships: We will send accepted awards to Admissions for enrollment verification after we process them in our office. For any grants or scholarships declined by the student it is recommended that the student complete a revised Financial Aid Award Request Form instead of declining so that a counselor can discuss options with them rather than simply declining an offered amount unless they know they do not wish to receive those funds from us at all during that academic year.
- Loans: If a loan has been awarded to you, but declined, please use the Decline Loan button provided in the Action column for each individual loan type shown on this page under “Loan Information”.
