I’ve always been a goal-oriented person. Getting things done is something I’m good at, so when it comes to setting goals and making them happen, that’s just second nature. However, I have learned over time that it’s not enough to just set goals—you need to take action on them as well. For example, if you want to write a blog post about smart goals in nursing but don’t make plans for how it will get done, then it probably won’t happen. As someone who has written thousands of posts in my career as a writer and editor (and who will write many more before retiring), here are some tips for making sure your blog post or project gets finished:

You should also make sure not just any old deadline will do—you want one that’s going to give you enough time to work on your goal without rushing through things or feeling rushed. For example, if I wanted my first post written by May 1st (a week from now), then I would start today!
And last but not least: set realistic time frames! If my first post isn’t due until May 1st but I am busy with schoolwork until then and don’t get around to posting until after class has ended at 11 pm every night…that might not work out so well! It’s best if we create realistic goals with concrete deadlines and timespans so that everyone wins in the end – including ourselves (and our readers!).

In order to be successful in your goal-setting, you’ll need to consider three main elements: time, priorities and resources. First and foremost, you have to make time for your goals. You could have the best idea ever but if you don’t block out the time necessary to work on it or get it done then it will never happen. It’s just not going to happen no matter how good your idea is!
Secondly, consider what has priority over others when setting your goals. If there are multiple things that need doing in a day then prioritize them based on what’s most important or urgent at any given moment during that day – don’t spread yourself too thinly by trying do everything at once! Finally think about what resources you might need from friends/colleagues/family etc., so that everyone involved knows how much help they can provide before deciding whether or not they want
to commit themselves fully without knowing first whether there’ll be enough support available later down the line when things start getting busy again after initial setup stages have been completed successfully (i’m looking at my own situation here).

You can also set smart goals that are specific, measurable, realistic and time bound as well as break down large tasks into smaller ones so that your project doesn’t seem too overwhelming. There are many different types of nursing jobs available today such as working in hospital emergency rooms or being a flight attendant who works on airplanes; both require different skillsets but they both involve helping people in need at some point throughout their careers so it’s important that everyone understands what these two professions entail before deciding which one best fits their interests.”
