South Sudanese may be required to take the Turkish Proficiency Test in order to finalise their applications.

In order to learn Turkish, you may be required to take the state-certified Turkish Proficiency Test. This is the language test to determine your level of proficiency in speaking and understanding Turkish.

You are required to take the test before you enroll in a course of study at university level. The results of this test are used to place students in appropriate courses by determining their knowledge of Turkish language, on which basis they will receive education during their studies at university level.

Students who have successfully completed an undergraduate or graduate degree from an institution where the medium of instruction is English are exempted from this test. Information about whether your institution qualifies for exemption can be obtained from universities or higher education institutions where you apply for admission. It is important that you confirm with each university or higher education institution whether such exemption applies before making your application so as not to be excluded from consideration on account of failing to achieve a satisfactory result in the proficiency test.

All South Sudanese candidates are required to take an English Proficiency Test as well as the Turkish Proficiency Test.
