Students are expected to complete their core curriculum within two years, which will include general chemistry, biology and math courses, as well as radiological anatomy and patient care techniques.

• Official transcripts from each college attended by the applicant including all transcripts for any post high school education and training
• A $30 application fee (non-refundable)

In addition to these requirements, applicants are required to pass both parts of the American Registry Radiologic Technology’s Limited Scope Certification Exam (LSC-R). The exam is offered at multiple sites throughout Missouri and Arkansas during regular testing dates.

Once you have been accepted into the Radiology program and have successfully passed the ARRT Limited Scope Certification Exam, you will register for RADT 2300 and apply for clinical education assignments in hospitals throughout San Antonio and Austin.

Once accepted by a hospital, your first step is to attend a 2-week orientation session. During this time you will be introduced to other students in your class and familiarize yourself with the hospital’s facilities, policies, procedures and equipment. You will also receive valuable training on how to work safely within the radiology department while providing quality patient care.

Upon successful completion of this program students will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree.
