The scholarship test 2018 is for master’s students in humanities and social sciences. The students who have a CGPA of 3 or above and are enrolled in Mphil or MS are eligible for the scholarship 2018-19. The scholarship will be offered to deserving candidates to continue their studies abroad. Scholarships will also be awarded to students from other provinces such as Sindh and Balochistan on need basis.

HEC Need Based Scholarships 2018-19

• You will have to be a permanent resident of Pakistan.
• You need your original Domicile along with any other relevant documents to apply for this scholarship.
• You need to provide proof of your financial status along with the application for the HEC Need Based Scholarship. A copy of your parent’s income tax return form is accepted as proof of your financial status. After filling out and submitting the form, you will receive a call from HEC after 1 month during which they will assess whether or not you are eligible for this scholarship program. Once they confirm that you are eligible, HEC will send you a letter stating what kind of help (in terms of funds) you should expect under their Need Based Scholarship Program in 2018-19

HEC Foreign Scholarship Scheme 2018-19

The HEC Foreign Scholarship Scheme offers scholarships for Masters and PhD level studies at foreign universities. Eligible students can apply for this scholarship, which provides financial support for a duration of 1 year. Students with a CGPA score higher than 3.0 are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

HEC FOREIGN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR M.PHIL/PHD 2017-18

HEC Foreign Scholarship will be awarded for students who have completed Master in any discipline and want to pursue higher studies.

HEC has announced scholarship opportunities for MS/MPhil leading to PhD, PhD and Post Doctoral studies at top ranked universities of the world in various disciplines under Foreign Scholarships Phase-II (2017-18). Online applications are invited from Pakistani/AJK nationals for award of scholarships tenable abroad (except USA). The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) has announced Master level scholarships for the year 2017-18. This is a scholarship for the masters students currently enrolled in their 4th or 5th semester of Masters in Pakistan. Students from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply for PEEF Masters Scholarship 2017-18 session. The last date to apply for Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) Master Level scholarships is 31st December, 2017. PEEF has also announced special master level scholarships that are aimed at PhD studies in Pakistan. PEEF will fund higher education of candidates who have been awarded admission or have secured admission in Government universities/institution of higher learning/Technical & Vocational Training institutes recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA).

PEEF Special Quota Students Scholarships 2016-17

The Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) was established by the Government of the Punjab in 2008. Its mission is to award scholarships to talented but needy students at graduate and post-graduate level. HEC Foreign Scholarships for Masters Level

• Check the HEC website for advertisement of the Test for Scholarship.
• Check your eligibility criteria through the HEC website and meet the requirements.
• Submit your application form on or before due date in a complete manner with all required documents to HEC office or any other center mentioned in advertisement
• Prepare yourself for written test, interview and/or screening tests if any as announced by HEC (These are necessary to get this scholarship).
• If you pass written test, interview and/or screening tests and qualify for the scholarship then HEC will award you this scholarship or financial assistance for Masters level studies abroad.
