Texas Colleges That Don’t Require Sat Or Act 2022

There are many reasons to take the SAT or ACT. When you’re applying for college, it can be a requirement, and it has been shown to predict college success. However, some colleges don’t require either of these entrance exams. If your goal is to attend one of these schools, you might want to consider not taking standardized tests at all. If your goal is simply to avoid taking them (or just one), consider waiting until after high school graduation before deciding whether or not to sit for the SAT or ACT!

Abilene Christian University (Abilene, Texas)

• No SAT or ACT required
• Application fee is $50, with discounts for early application and for students who apply for multiple schools.
• Minimum GPA: N/A
• Minimum SAT or ACT score: N/A

This school seems to be more traditional than some of the other schools on this list. They don’t have a minimum GPA requirement, but they also don’t have an application fee waiver for students accepted into their school. They do, however, offer scholarships based on your financial need and academic merit which can help make up for any costs incurred by taking the test(s).

Amridge University (Montgomery, Alabama)

Amridge University is a private, Christian liberal arts university located in Montgomery, Alabama. The university offers bachelor’s degree programs in business administration, communication studies and sciences, English language and literature/letters (BA), history (BA), human services leadership (BS) management information systems (BA), nursing science and leadership (AS) nursing science and leadership with RN-to-BSN option (AAS), psychology with concentration in pastoral counseling or pastoral ministry (BA). Amridge University also offers associate’s degrees that lead to baccalaureate degrees in applied sciences or business administration.

Amridge University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate’s degrees; bachelor’s degrees; master’s degrees; and doctoral degrees

Arkansas Tech University (Russellville, Arkansas)

In order to apply to Arkansas Tech University, you must submit the following materials:

• A completed application for admission, including all required documents (dates and deadlines can be found on their website).
• A $35 nonrefundable application fee.

Students who do not meet the minimum GPA requirements for freshmen or transfer students may still be admitted if they have earned at least 24 credit hours of college-level coursework from an accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0. International students whose native language is not English must also submit results from an English proficiency exam as well as official transcripts from all previously attended institutions before they can be considered for enrollment at Arkansas Tech University.

Black Hills State University (Spearfish, South Dakota)

Black Hills State University is one of the best colleges in South Dakota, as it’s one of only two universities in the state. This university has a great acceptance rate, with 71% of applicants being admitted each year. The average ACT score for students at BHSU is 21, while their average GPA is 3.4 and SAT score is 1010.

Black Hills State University does not require any minimum scores for admission but does have an application fee that varies depending on which semester you apply (more info here). There are no application deadlines stated by BHSU either, so if you’re ready to submit your paperwork as soon as possible then go ahead!

Brigham Young University-Idaho (Rexburg, Idaho)

Brigham Young University-Idaho (BYU-Idaho) accepts all students who are recommended by their bishop. The school’s rolling admissions policy allows applications to be submitted at any time during the year and decisions are made on a first come, first served basis. BYU-Idaho has an acceptance rate of around 80 percent. The tuition for full-time enrollment in 2019 is $5,100 per semester for LDS Church members and $6,500 for nonmembers.

The university offers transfer credits from other institutions if those courses have been taken within the last six years or were taken from another accredited institution that is regionally accredited or nationally recognized by its accrediting agency as a comparably high quality program (a list of recognized institutions can be found here). Students who have earned an associate degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher may not have to take general education classes at this university because most of them will transfer over into their bachelor’s degrees; however, some general education requirements must still be met by taking electives in categories such as humanities, social sciences and physical sciences – which can usually be fulfilled by taking additional religion classes if you meet certain requirements during your freshman year at BYU-I!

Brown Mackie College-Miami (Miami, Florida)

Brown Mackie College-Miami is a private, non-profit college located in Miami, Florida. Brown Mackie College-Miami is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).

Brown Mackie College-Miami has an open admissions policy, which means that all applicants are automatically accepted into the school. In order to apply to this institution, you will need to submit an application form via the school’s website. On their website they also provide information about how you can get involved with their campus community as well as how you can access more information regarding their financial aid options.

California Institute of Technology (Pasadena, California)

Caltech is a private research university located in Pasadena, California. Caltech offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in science and engineering. Undergraduate students may participate in the Bachelor of Science program; students who wish to earn an applied degree can apply for one of the following:

• Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Chemical Engineering
• Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Computer Science

California State University-Los Angeles (Los Angeles, California)

CSU-LA is a four-year school that offers a variety of programs to undergraduate and graduate students. The university is part of the California State University system, which has 23 campuses across California. CSU-LA is located in the city of Los Angeles, California, and it’s known for its strong research programs.

CSU-LA is an NCAA Division I member institution with 19 sports teams, including baseball (men’s), basketball (men’s & women’s), cross country running (men & women), golf (men & women), soccer (men & women), softball(women)and volleyball(women).

Clarkson College (Omaha, Nebraska)

Clarkson College is a private, not-for-profit, coeducational college. The school has been operating for 68 years and offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Clarkson College does not require the SAT or ACT to be eligible for admission into its degree programs. However, all students must complete prerequisites in high school courses before enrolling in college courses at Clarkson College.

Colorado Technical University-Colorado Springs (Colorado Springs, Colorado)

Colorado Technical University is a private, nonprofit institution that offers more than 90 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The Colorado Springs campus is one of 16 campuses across the United States and online.

Colorado Tech’s College of Applied Sciences & Technology offers associate’s degrees in various areas including aviation maintenance technology, computer information systems (CIS), criminal justice and emergency medical services (EMS). Students can choose from accelerated schedules that allow them to complete their degrees in as little as 15 months or traditional plans that require 22 months to finish.

Concordia University Chicago (River Forest, Illinois)

Concordia University Chicago is a private university in River Forest, Illinois. The university offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees through its six colleges: Concordia College for Arts & Sciences; School of Education & Professional Studies; School of Graduate Studies; College For Ministry; School Of Music And Worship Arts and Concordia Theological Seminary. The school has more than 5,000 students from all 50 states and 70 countries.

The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod founded the university in 1864 as St. Louis German Evangelical Lutheran Academy at Silver Creek (also known as Silver Creek Seminary). It was renamed Concordia Seminary and then relocated to St. Louis before moving again to Chicago in 1890 when it became known as Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synodical College (WELS). In 1907 it changed its name again to Concordia Teachers College when it began offering elementary education classes for women only (it later expanded its offerings). If you are looking for an affordable and accessible school with a high acceptance rate, Delaware State University may be the perfect option for you. Located in Dover, Delaware, this public university has a student-to-faculty ratio of 22:1 and 99 percent of their classes have fewer than 50 students. The university also has a high graduation rate of 62 percent compared to 46 percent nationwide.

To apply to this university, applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and take either the ACT with Writing or SAT Reasoning Test (with Essay). Students can also apply if they don’t meet these requirements but instead have taken AP tests in specific subject areas with scores of 3 or higher on each exam.

Dominican University of California (San Rafael. California)

Dominican University of California is a private, $51,000-per-year school located in San Rafael.

The school has a 43% acceptance rate and requires you to take either the SAT or ACT: 2540 (Math and Reading) on the SAT Composite, or 26 (Math and Writing), on the ACT Composite.

Students at Drury can choose from more than 20 different interdisciplinary degree programs in fields like engineering and business administration.

Drury University has been ranked as one of the top 100 national liberal arts colleges by U.S News & World Report since 2016, and it was also ranked as a top regional university by The Princeton Review in their 2019 Best 373 Colleges book.

Before you make a final decision about whether or not to take the SAT or ACT, consider your options. Look at other schools and majors that may be right for you. And think about how you could apply in different ways.

Whether it’s an alternative test like the ACT Compass (for international applicants) or going through a different application track like Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG), there are still more ways than ever before to apply with less stress and more confidence. For example, some public universities offer in-state tuition discounts for students who take certain tests instead of the SAT/ACT. Also, some private schools have started accepting portfolios instead of standardized tests as part of their application materials!
