College of DuPage
College of DuPage is located in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and offers cosmetology programs. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
The College of DuPage was founded in 1957 and offers students a variety of educational opportunities through its 90+ programs and services. Undergraduate students can choose from more than 50 majors and graduate students can choose from 30 master’s degree programs as well as 16 doctoral degrees. The school also has research centers dedicated to a variety of topics including agriculture, biotechnology, information technology and sustainability.

Southern University at Shreveport
Southern University at Shreveport is a private university located in Shreveport, Louisiana. Delgado Community College
Delgado Community College, located in New Orleans, offers a cosmetology program that is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences. The school has an open admissions policy, meaning it does not require applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores. The cosmetology program has three areas of emphasis: hair styling and design, nail technology, and barbering/hairstyling. Students must earn at least 120 credit hours before graduating; they can choose between nine different concentrations within these areas of emphasis as well as general studies courses such as math and English composition.

UAA has an academic calendar that consists of two semesters each year. The fall semester dates are from Aug 18 – Dec 15th, 2019; while the spring semester ends on May 24th 2020. This allows students to start their degree program as soon as possible after high school graduation and get into the workforce sooner than most other colleges in Alaska.
