The University of Arizona Mens Basketball team is a very good team. In fact, they are one of the best teams in all of college basketball. They have won multiple conference championships and have even made it to the NCAA Tournament several times over the last few years.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS: 1997, 2002, 2003, 2011, 2014 and 2015
Arizona basketball has won the Pac-10 Tournament four times since 2000, including the 2002 and 2003 tournaments. The Wildcats also won the regular season championship in 1997, 2002, 2003 and 2011.
Arizona’s current men’s head coach Sean Miller was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year in 2017 after leading the Wildcats to their first conference tournament title since 2001. They followed that up with a Sweet 16 appearance at NCAA Tournament where they fell to Xavier University in overtime by a score of 77–71.[7] In 2018 he again won Coach of the Year honors after defeating Houston Baptist University 84–60 in their opening game at Oracle Arena as well as defeating DePaul 83–70 in Chicago (Illinois). The Wildcats finished with a 25–8 record overall but lost once again in their opening game against Texas Southern 75–64 on March 21st 2019.[8] Sean Miller is currently signed through 2022 at an annual base salary $3 million dollars annually which includes benefits.[9]

The University of Arizona men’s basketball team has made 24 appearances in the NCAA tournament since 1985, with first-round wins in 1985, 1986 and 1987. They made a regional final appearance in 1988 before falling to UNLV in overtime. In 1991 they lost to Duke on a last second jumper by Christian Laettner. The Wildcats were led by Sean Elliott and Steve Kerr during this time period.

The University of Arizona Men’s Basketball team is one of the best teams in the country, and they’re looking to build on that success. The Wildcats finished second in the Pac-12 Conference last season, with a 16-2 record. They lost to Oregon in their first game at the NCAA Tournament but bounced back with an impressive victory over #9 Texas Tech on Thursday night.
The Wildcats made some changes this offseason, adding two new assistant coaches and bringing back coach Sean Miller for his seventh season at UA. Miller says he thinks this year’s team has what it takes not just to succeed on campus but also off campus as well: “It’s always exciting when you’ve got so many guys coming back who want to be here.”
The University of Arizona has had a very successful basketball program over the years. They have won many national championships and are one of the best teams in college basketball today.
