BASEBALL
The main way to score runs is to hit the ball with a bat and run around the bases. The runner must touch each base in order and then make it home before being thrown out or tagged out by a player on the opposing team. A team scores one point for every runner that successfully makes it around all four bases and touches home plate.
The first recorded baseball game occurred on June 19, 1846 when two teams made up of nine players competed against each other in Hoboken, New Jersey for $50 ($800 USD today). The winners were listed as: Mr. Thompson’s Club; Captain William Rufus Wheaton and his band of “Long Island Nine” which included himself along with John Dickson Burns (who would later become president), Washington Irving Bishop, Anson Morris Clinton Hillyer James Templeton Ketchum Henry Johnson Jones Joseph William Larkin Jr., Charles Hammond McCarty James Lewis Moore Robert Adam Orr Patrick Lyons Samuel Porter Smith William Edward Sullivan Thomas Joseph Walsh Daniel Nicholas Woodruff Jr..

- Parking information: There is a large parking lot behind the stadium with plenty of space for fans that want to get there early or tailgate before the game starts! There are also several other lots around campus where you can park for free if you don’t mind walking a little bit more than usual 🙂 The only thing I would recommend taking into consideration is how close you are able to get to your seat before first pitch; if someone has already taken up all the good spots then it might be best not even bothering trying at all because then it just becomes frustrating haha which nobody wants haha 😉
Seating capacity: 1,500+ people – Concessions & Food Services*: Yes! This year they have hired new concession staff members so now everyone gets served quickly & efficiently when they go up through line 🙂 Plus there’s always something fresh cooking on grill so if you’re feeling hungry after buying tickets ($7 per person), just head straight over here!
