The University of Dubuque men’s basketball team is currently a member of the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC), having joined the league after leaving the Midwest Conference (MWC) in 2018. That year, the Spartans won the Midwest Conference Tournament and received an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Tournament. The Spartans have won a total of five conference regular season championships, most recently winning the Midwest Conference regular season title in 2017.
