Apply For Admissions
You can apply for admissions online by visiting the University of Kentucky’s website: https://www.applyweb.com/commonapp. The Common Application is a universal application that allows students to apply to multiple schools with one form and fee, which saves time and money for students who are applying to more than one school.
You will need the following information in order to complete your application:
- Your Social Security number or student ID# (if you have been previously enrolled at UK)
- Your e-mail address, current mailing address, permanent home address and telephone number(s) (including cell phone numbers)
- A valid Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card number with expiration date and security code (Visa or MasterCard only). A $60 nonrefundable fee is required when applying electronically using this payment method; cash payments cannot be accepted when applying on line using electronic check/credit card payment methods.*
Submit The Nonrefundable Application Fee
If you have not already paid the application fee, you will be prompted to do so at the end of the online application. The application fee is $60 and nonrefundable and due with your applications.

Submit Official high school transcripts
High school transcripts are required. Students must submit official high school transcripts from each institution attended to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Transcripts must be sent directly from each high school in a sealed envelope to:

If you have earned college credit while in high school or through an AP exam, your official record will be sent electronically by the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). SAT and ACT Scores
You do not need to submit your SAT or ACT scores.
The University of Kentucky does not require standardized test scores for admission, scholarship offers, financial aid packages or housing. Students who wish to submit their scores may do so if they feel it would strengthen their application.
